Pasta e... products were born by Mario Pollio passion and creativity, together with the wise experience of his mother. Their pasta, their pickled goods and jams are all the result of their own family cooking tradition. All the ingredients used in the process are natural and they possibly come from the farmer next to their house. Such characteristics distinguish all of their products: their spinach pasta is made by searing and mashing spinaches in a pestle, the mixed pickled vegetables are thinly sliced just as the eggplants fillets. Mario Pollio, owner of Pasta e...started experimenting with food when he ws just a toddler, in his mother kitchen, a housewife from Naples with a deep passion for cooking. Mario attended a catering institute where he graduated before he started working in many restaurants of the Sorrento area next to some famous Michelin-starred chef. He studied abroad too in order to learn new skills and experience new flavors. In 2009 he took over an historical fresh pasta laboratory in Saint Agata and he created Pasta e...achieving his dream of opening a retail store of typical Sorrento and neapolitan dishes. He also collaborates with some catering business and he gives cooking classes. Mario hates monotony, which is the reason behind all his research and sperimentation, mixing ingredients in new ways to create new products inspired by traditions, respecting quality and creating innovation.
